Welcome to Stonham Aspal Pre-School

Where learning is fun”

14 12 15 012

Our Pre-School was started by a local group of parents in 1981 who were seeking a place to provide fun and learning for children in the area and we have been in continuous operation ever since. Way back then and until quite recently we met in the Village Hall, but in June 2010, after three years of planning applications, we finally moved to our own purpose-built premises, situated conveniently next to the Primary School. The location affords us a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a close relationship with the School.

We are immensely proud of the work we do and continually strive to perfect and develop our practice.

We now offer 30 hours free funding.

New extended opening hours from 8:45am to 3:15pm

Please see ‘Session Times and Fees’ for more information

“Staff establish strong partnerships with parents. Parents talk enthusiastically about the service the setting provides, particularly the support and and reassurance given by their child’s key person to help them settle.”

“Thank you so much for looking after her over the last 2 years and giving her so many special memories and experiences. She’s really loved being with you, and we love hearing about all of the different activities, songs, models, paintings, pictures, worms, tyre swings, construction, role model games, writing…the list is endless! She’s developed so much in the past year in particular and I feel she leaves you as a confident, happy little girl who is very ready to face the next stage of her life. I know she’ll miss you all tremendously, and will love waving to you from the playground.”
