Early Years Grant available (15 hours) for children in the term after their third birthday, these free hours can be used between 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday, you don't need to apply for this, once your child/children start attending, we will then ask you to complete a PAF form to claim for these hours each term.

30 hours of free childcare is available to those who are eligible.  For further information please go to www.gov.uk/30-hours-free-childcare. These funded hours can be used between 9am and 3pm from Monday to Friday. You need to apply well in advance and you will then be given a unique 11 digit code which you will need to bring in to us at Pre-School as soon as you receive it. We then confirm that code on the councils funding portal.  You will need to update your code each term to validate it for the following term. We will also require you to fill in a parental consent form. If you think you are eligible for 30 hours then please let us know as soon as you can.

Families in receipt of a qualifying benefit may be eligible for 15 hours funded childcare for 2-year-olds for further information go to www.gov.uk/help-with-childcare-costs/free-childcare-2-year-olds.

The Government also have tax free childcare, for further information please visit
www.gov.uk/tax-free-childcare. You can get up to £500 every 3 months, up to £2,000 a year, for each child to help with the cost of childcare.  This goes up to £1,000 every 3 months if a child is disabled (up to £4,000 a year).  If you get Tax free childcare you will need to set up and online childcare account for your child/children.  For every £8 you pay into this account the Government will pay £2 to use to pay your provider.  You can get Tax-Free childcare at the same time as 30 hours of free childcare if you are eligible for both.
